'Here There' is an experimental film, a collaboration with dance artist and scholar, Magnolia Yang Sao Yia. The film follows Magnolia’s journey to contemporary Hmong dance. This journey explores the interplay between dance and her Hmong identity with its multiplicities, simultaneously asking 'What does it mean to be Hmong?' and 'What is Hmong dance?'
